WILDERNESS EXPLANATIONIs. 48:17 KJV

No season in Jesus is one that is worthless. HE is the Redeemer. Where the enemy wanted destruction, God always brings construction. Jesus never wants us to stay the same. He is always changing us as we encounter Him in every season. (2 Cor. 3:16-17).

Sometimes those seasons are hard and we literally must choose to live, to breath. To breath Him in, simply put is allowing our hearts and minds to focus even for a moment on Him. It may be through listening to music or saying, “I love you Jesus, I trust you.” (Col. 3:1-2).

We make seasons harder by trying to explain it, make sense of it. And when we cannot do that we either get mad or feel condemned. That is not the heart of our Father!  He does not want us to struggle through those seasons, but instead to come out different a different person by loving more and trusting more.

The heart of surrender is developed in the seasons we can’t explain by simply saying, “I trust You.”
